FIELD

Just over three years ago, we moved from the Outer Hebrides to Lincolnshire.The change shook me in ways I didn't understand. Agoraphobia set in and I found myself crying in panic, in the vast open spaces around our home, because I believed I couldn't see the way out?. Troublesome for a landscape painter eh?.

Widely agricultural, and yes mostly flat once you travel beyond the wolds, it has taken me until now to want to question this beautiful and unique county in paint. And so FIELD becomes my next residency, right here, beyond the village I live in ... Because the fear is gone and i'm ready to explore
